At Cobham Drive in Weymouth, we increased the number of parking spaces available by 36.
We spoke with customers after receiving complaints about the lack of parking and condition of the pavements. Cars regularly parked on the pavements and grassy areas, causing damage, and making them difficult to maintain.
We carried out the work in phases to ease traffic, and our contractors shared regular updates and newsletters to build a good relationship with customers living nearby while the work was completed.
The additional parking spaces have been welcomed by customers and colleagues and we’ve received some positive customer feedback:
