Independent Living scheme refurbishements
As part of our investment work to create communities our customers are proud to call home, during 2021/22 we continued to refurbish and improve the communal areas of some of our Independent Living schemes. Seven schemes were improved through the enhancement programme and 10 schemes were refurbished to make sure the customers living there have the best experience.
Customers were involved in the entire process, and we tried to speak to every customer living in these schemes to find out what they’d like from the refurbishment. Their feedback and ideas were then used in the unique designs for each scheme.
